PC/NAMETAG is the world’s largest distributor of meeting and registration supplies. The company was founded by Nick Topitzes, a certified meeting planner, in 1985, after he struggled to print name tags for meetings using the then-new personal computer and printer. He hired software writers to develop a program that would do the job for him and called it PC/NAMETAG, the first software package of it's kind. Meeting planners found the program easy to use and liked how it simplified their lives.
