Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

Situated at the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Central Business District, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) is the city’s most technologically–advanced, purpose-built facility for international, regional and local conventions, tradeshows, public exhibitions, entertainment and even, intimate private functions.

The Centre is one of the components within PETRONAS’ distinctive Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development. Designed as a unique “city within a city”, the 100-acre development boasts a lush 50-acre landscaped KLCC Park, the signature PETRONAS Twin Towers, Asy’Syakirin Mosque, six-storeys of retail therapy (Suria KLCC), sustenance for the mind (PETROSAINS interactive science discovery centre) and a refuge for art enthusiasts (Galeri PETRONAS). Located within the KLCC is the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, home to the renowned Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

the latest in wireless, 3G telecommunications, digital audio-visual and ancillary services.
The Centre also prides itself on having a professional team to ensure the delivery of world-class services and top-notch culinary offerings; the latter served by a 51-strong culinary brigade. All of its five kitchens; Chinese, Western, Cold, Pastry and Malay are certified halal.

Visitors to the Centre will enjoy a good selection of food at Parkview Deck on Level 1 overlooking the scenic KLCC Park and signature PETRONAS Twin Tower and eateries adjacent to the AQUARIA on the Concourse Level. An air-conditioned pedestrian walkway provides convenient access to the Suria KLCC and the Putra LRT station. Parking is not a problem with 700 car parks available at the Centre’s multi-tiered basement car park.
Since opening in 2005, the Centre has won numerous awards including the AIPC (International Association of Convention Centres) Innovation Award 2015, Best of Malaysia Awards 2014, International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Best Inaugural PR Award, rAWr (Recognising Award Winning Results) Awards 2013 for ‘Purpose Built Convention & Exhibition Centre Award For Excellence’ in the Business Events category; Kuala Lumpur Mayor Universal Access Award 2013; Meeting Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) 2012 for ‘Best Print Advertising Campaign (Gold)’ and the MICE Report Awards 2012 for ‘Best Convention Centre in Asia’.

The Centre has ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, EarthCheck Bronze status (environment) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Certification (HACCP) recognition, the international food safety system for international convention facilities and five-star hotels. It is also the first in Asia to receive the ‘Gold’ AIPC Quality Standards certification.
