Summary

I currently work with the Government, Association and Military Meeting Market for the DoubleTree by Hilton at BWI Airport. Prior experience at the DoubleTree was targeting the Business Travel market. The DoubleTree by Hilton- Baltimore at BWI Airport was recently renovated and now is proud to provide an excellent hotel and meeting option that is close to BWI Airport, Baltimore, Washington, Annapolis and Columbia, Maryland. Prior to joining the DoubleTree, I was the Director of Sales for the Hyatt Place BWI. I have also had my own business working on tourism and hospitality related projects which included meeting/trade show planning, destination representation and sales. My degree is in education, but I have taught Hospitality Sales and Marketing and Meeting Sales and Services at Prince Georges Community College in Largo, Maryland. Some of my earlier career accomplishments include: Starting the Meetings Task Force for the Maryland Office of Tourism. Serving on the Board of Directors of the National Tour Association and Pennsylvania Bus Association. Developing Maryland On The Road (MORE), a sales blitz program still in operation, for the State of Maryland.I currently volunteer on weekends for the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.
